4 different faces of Jesus

The 4 gospels present the 4 faces of Jesus, which also correspond to the 4 emblems of the 4 tribes of Israel camped closest to the Tabernacle when they were in the desert.

1. Matthew:

- Written for the Jews

- Presents Christ as the prophesied "he that is born King of the Jews" (Matthew 2:2)

- Seen in the Lion of Judah that camped East of the Tabernacle

2. Mark:

- Written for the Romans

- Presents Chris as the obedient Servant "the Son of man came, not to be ministered unto but to minister (serve) and to give His life a ransom for many." (Mark 10:45), with no discussion of genealogy

- Seen in the Ox of Ephraim that camped West of the Tabernacle

3. Luke:

- Written for the Greek

- Presents Christ as the perfect Man by tracing the genealogy of Jesus back to Adam the first man (Luke 3:23-38)

- Seen in the face of Man of Reuben that camped South of the Tabernacle

4. John:

- Written for the world

- Presents Christ as God and the Divine Son by focusing on Jesus's origin before time (John 1:1-14)

- Seen in the Eagle of Dan that camped North of the Tabernacle

The 4 faces of Jesus will defend you against the enemies attack from 4 directions. When the 12 tribes of Israel camp, they face the tabenacle and left their back to the enemy. God will will our rear guard when our eyes are fixed on Jesus.

This is how the enemies are going to attack you.

(Zech 6:1-8)

Four Chariots

6 I looked up again, and there before me were four chariots coming out from between two mountains—mountains of bronze. ² The first chariot had red horses, the second black, ³ the third white, and the fourth dappled—all of them powerful. ⁴ I asked the angel who was speaking to me, “What are these, my lord?”

⁵ The angel answered me, “These are the four spirits^[a] of heaven, going out from standing in the presence of the Lord of the whole world. ⁶ The one with the black horses is going toward the north country, the one with the white horses toward the west,^[b] and the one with the dappled horses toward the south.”
⁷ When the powerful horses went out, they were straining to go throughout the earth. And he said, “Go throughout the earth!” So they went throughout the earth.
⁸ Then he called to me, “Look, those going toward the north country have given my Spirit^[c] rest in the land of the north.”

(Revelation 5:1-5) The White Horse - Religious Deception
"I watched as The Lamb opened the first of the seven seals. Then I heard one of the four living creatures say in a voice like thunder, "Come!" I looked, and there before me was a white horse! Its rider held a bow, and he was given a crown, and he rode out as a conqueror bent on conquest."

(Revelation 6:1-2) The Red Horse - War 
 "When The Lamb opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature say, "Come!" Then another horse came out, a fiery red one. Its rider was given power to take peace from the earth and to make men slay each other. To him was given a large sword."

(Revelation 6:3-4) The Black Horse - Famine
 "When The Lamb opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, "Come!" I looked, and there before me was a black horse! Its rider was holding a pair of scales in his hand. Then I heard what sounded like a voice among the four living creatures, saying, "A quart of wheat for a day's wages, and three quarts of barley for a day's wages, and do not damage the oil and the wine!"

(Revelation 6:5-6) The Pale Horse - Pestilence "When The Lamb opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature say, "Come!" I looked, and there before me was a pale horse! Its rider was named Death, and Hades was following close behind him. They were given power over a fourth of the earth to kill by sword, famine and plague, and by the wild beasts of the earth." (Revelation 6:7-8)

Right Beliefs

Right beliefs brings out right living. Many churches try to teach right living in order to be right with God. The truth is we can never be right based on our own efforts. The opposite of faith is works. Self righteousness means we are depending on our own doing to be justified, but Christ centred means we depends 100% on Jesus finished work to be justified. The churches try to bring back the laws indirectly in order to teach right living. Laws demands but Grace supplies. God is angry at preacher who teachings portray Him as angry and demanding God. This is the anti-Christ spirit. Anything that don't recognise the finished work of Jesus and the resultant grace is considered anti-Christ. The bible says many anti-christs have being coming out of the churches. They twist and turn to replace Christ with something else that seems legitimate.

Remember when Jesus died on the cross, our past, present & future sins are all paid for. When God raised Jesus from the dead, we rose together with Him. He conquered the last enemy for us. Death is behind us. We just have to believe that Jesus' work on the cross is finished and as Jesus is so are we in this world.

(1 John 4:17)
As Jesus is, so are we in this word.

We can be a Christian for life yet missed out the real deal. Let's look at the story of Martha and Mary below.

Luke 10:38-42

At the Home of Martha and Mary

³⁸ As Jesus and his disciples were on their way, he came to a village where a woman named Martha opened her home to him. ³⁹ She had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord’s feet listening to what he said. ⁴⁰ But Martha was distracted by all the preparations that had to be made. She came to him and asked, “Lord, don’t you care that my sister has left me to do the work by myself? Tell her to help me!”

⁴¹ “Martha, Martha,” the Lord answered, “you are worried and upset about many things, ⁴² but few things are needed—or indeed only one.^[a] Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her.”

 

We don't have to be busy and stressed out doing many things. Martha was busy preparing food for her guest Jesus not knowing this is the one who fed the 5000 with 5 loaves and 2 fishes. He is not here to be fed but is here to feed. Mary on the other hand recognise the God in the fresh and stood in ears to listen to Jesus and anoint Jesus' feet with oil. She has chosen the one thing that is the real deal.

Throughout the bible, God has chosen faith over works. Without faith, it is impossible to please God.

 

 

Hebrews 11:6

 

⁶ But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

 

 

Christianity is never complicated. Just believe that Jesus' finished work is sufficient for you and I. All our past, present & future sins are forgiven and we stand righteous before God through Christ. Because we are righteous, everything that God has is ours in Christ. God is our supply.
Look at the follow story to see the importance of believing right. Don't let the devil deceive you of your rights and inheritance. If you know your inheritance, you will know what to ask and Jesus will supply. There is wave upon wave of grace in Jesus.

Luke 15:11-32

 

The Parable of the Lost Son

¹¹ Jesus continued: “There was a man who had two sons. ¹² The younger one said to his father, ‘Father, give me my share of the estate.’ So he divided his property between them.
¹³ “Not long after that, the younger son got together all he had, set off for a distant country and there squandered his wealth in wild living. ¹⁴ After he had spent everything, there was a severe famine in that whole country, and he began to be in need. ¹⁵ So he went and hired himself out to a citizen of that country, who sent him to his fields to feed pigs. ¹⁶ He longed to fill his stomach with the pods that the pigs were eating, but no one gave him anything.
¹⁷ “When he came to his senses, he said, ‘How many of my father’s hired servants have food to spare, and here I am starving to death! ¹⁸ I will set out and go back to my father and say to him: Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. ¹⁹ I am no longer worthy to be called your son; make me like one of your hired servants.’ ²⁰ So he got up and went to his father.
“But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him.
²¹ “The son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son.’
²² “But the father said to his servants, ‘Quick! Bring the best robe and put it on him. Put a ring on his finger and sandals on his feet. ²³ Bring the fattened calf and kill it. Let’s have a feast and celebrate. ²⁴ For this son of mine was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’ So they began to celebrate.
²⁵ “Meanwhile, the older son was in the field. When he came near the house, he heard music and dancing. ²⁶ So he called one of the servants and asked him what was going on. ²⁷ ‘Your brother has come,’ he replied, ‘and your father has killed the fattened calf because he has him back safe and sound.’
²⁸ “The older brother became angry and refused to go in. So his father went out and pleaded with him. ²⁹ But he answered his father, ‘Look! All these years I’ve been slaving for you and never disobeyed your orders. Yet you never gave me even a young goat so I could celebrate with my friends. ³⁰ But when this son of yours who has squandered your property with prostitutes comes home, you kill the fattened calf for him!’
³¹ “‘My son,’ the father said, ‘you are always with me, and everything I have is yours. ³² But we had to celebrate and be glad, because this brother of yours was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’”

Grace & Truth

The more I listen to Pastor Prince and read the bible, the more I am in love with Jesus and Father God.

When the first Adam sins, it automatically makes the whole human race sinful. Something in life is of no choice. Occasionally we may have done some good deeds but that doesn't make the sinner a righteuos being. Similarly, if you are borned of the second Adam (Jesus), it automatically makes you righteous. Occasional sins doesn't cancel out the fact you are of righteous status. God doesn't see how good or bad we are once we are in Christ, He looks at the perfect lamb of God. The lamb of God died and rose to conquer our the last enemy - death. Therefore, in HIM we are righteous and more than conquerer. Friends do not be deceived by the condemnation brought to you by the devil. Rebuke the condemnation as they wil not stand if the convenat of law is made obsolete. The strength of sin is in the laws. Under the strict old convenant, if we by our own works obeys the laws we will be blessed but likewise if we doesn't we will be cursed. In fact no one except Jesus can obey the ten commandments. In short, the ten commandments is to love God fervently and Peopl wholeheartedly. The laws is like a mirror telling you the truth but without the power to correct. It brings forth condemnation, used by the devil. Jesus came to fulfil the laws so that He will received the blessings promised that in turns exchange for your curses on the very old cross.

1. Ever wonder why Jesus brought Peter, James and John when he is trying to raise Jairus daughter from the dead and on the mountain of transfiguration? Peter in Greek means stone or 1st Pope, James means supplant or replace, John means Yahweh is Gracious. Join their names together and perpexually you will get Law is replaced by Grace.

2. Laws demands while Grace supply. (Rms 6:14) Sins will not have dominant under grace.

3. When people brought a woman caught in adultery, the people want to see how Jesus deal with the woman. According to the law, she should be stoned or according to grace. Instead, he wrote on the southern steps which is of stone the laws and challenge he who knew no sins to stone her first. People must be "awe" at his teaching and at the same time astonish by Jesus who wrote on the stony ground with his fingers.

4.Paul teached the gospel of grace in his time which is deemed controversial.

5.Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness and all things shall be added to us.

 Luke 18: A certain young man came and ask Jesus how can he enter the kingdom of God. The young man boasted he has kept all the laws. Jesus then challenge him by the law to ask him to sell all his possesions and follow Him. The young man couldn't bear to do this. Not a single cent is sold.

Luke 19: Jesus went to Zathheus, the tax collector's house despite Zathheus being branded the hated man. Zathheus was so touch, he restored 4 found those whom he had cheated. By Gace, money begin to flow.

7. Luke (2:25-31) When the prophets saw Jesus, he said he has seen salvation.

²⁵ At that time there was a man in Jerusalem named Simeon. He was righteous and devout and was eagerly waiting for the Messiah to come and rescue Israel. The Holy Spirit was upon him ²⁶ and had revealed to him that he would not die until he had seen the Lord’s Messiah. ²⁷ That day the Spirit led him to the Temple. So when Mary and Joseph came to present the baby Jesus to the Lord as the law required, ²⁸ Simeon was there. He took the child in his arms and praised God, saying,

²⁹ “Sovereign Lord, now let your servant die in peace,
    as you have promised.
³⁰ I have seen your salvation,
³¹     which you have prepared for all people.
³² He is a light to reveal God to the nations,
    and he is the glory of your people Israel!”
