STEE Story & Testimony Part II

Since the start of 2015, I was task to start on new initiatives. I was writing proposals to get EIF & E2I fundings.  I was meeting vendors to prepare for demos for ERP 2. I am shaping to be more than a "software leader".

In May 2015, Kok Foong, R&D director, ask me to take part in the STEE BIC (Best Idea Competition) with SNAPi & NOPO Gallery. I wrote the proposal and presented among the CTOs and get through to the finals. It was difficult competition because I am vying against the likes of other BU (InfoSoft, SatCom, T&S, etc). I still remember vividly, before I go for the finals, San Ken told me that just go there play play because it is very difficult to win anything, given the calibre of my components. Feeling confident, when I checked at the end of the day, I have won first place! Even I went to this competition I confessed Ruth 3:18 every night:

Then Naomi said, "Wait, my daughter, until you find out what happens. For the man will not rest until the matter is settled today."

When Edmund whatsapp me on how I fare in the competition. I gleefully replied to say I won. Then he asked consolidation? When. I told him first place, a long silence preluded. When I went back next week, everyone was congratrulating me. This is the first time Services BU have won anything, let alone first prize. San Ken, being dumbfounded, didn't even know say anything or react. Before he went back that day, he just jokingly ask me for 4 number for 4D. Unknowingly, It was an insult! The only con is that the prize money of $5000 can only be presented in the next STEE President Forum scheduled in October 2015. I am thankful for Jesus's finished work in my life. Truly, God like to take the small thing of the world to profound the big things of the world! It was just a small project, which I did it to my very best and with much passion.

In July 2015, just days after I won the competition, I have my annual increment. Much to my disappointment, I only have a meagre increment of $225, probably a C grading. My monthly pay only manage to inch above $7000. I felt insulted and decided maybe my services will have much rewards elsewhere. I began to emboss my resume in Jobstreet. Nevertheless, I still have to wait till October 2015 for the prize money. I remember I went for interviews with CrimsonLogic, Wilmar and Tyco.
I love the Tyco job scope very much but I didn't make the grade. I felt I never really do well in any on the interviews. Till, I believe God will provide a way out and He knows the best for me.

At the end of September 2015, Seow Fen from Jobline called me and asked me if I still interested in the CrimsonLogic job. I replied her that it was always in my impression that I was rejected for the interview because there was no news for so long. Much to my surprise, she said they still remember I won some competition and prize money, and ask me if I have taken the prize money yet. Wow, that is God's making! Naturally, I replied I will be taking soon and a second interview was scheduled shortly. They offered me $8200 without any negotiation as this is what I have put in my application. Seow Fen fight for me to $8400 citing reasons like longer distance and higher transport costs. They agreed almost immediately. Now comes the most difficult part, to stay in STEE or move on to CrimsonLogic.

At first, I was unsure whether to give up the coming 20k bonuses and what I have established here for the new job. Being emotional, I hesistated to sign the new contract, giving STEE chance to counter-offer. But after a long talk to Mr Kang, my option is clear. He would not dare to put me for another promotion, couple with the thoughts of another C+ grading on the horizon, irked me to finally accept the CrimsonLogic offer.

SNAPi was one of the finalists in the SiTF Best Innovation Project (Enterprise) 2015 competition.
http://www.sitfawards.com/cos/o.x?c=/wbn/pagetree&func=view&rid=1257454

We didn't manage to advance to the InnoChamps 2015 finals. It was quite disappointing but overall it was a good experience.

I only have the URA demo left which was done basically on my last working evening. It was a resounding success. Mr Kang and I were the only one doing the talking and the buying in. In the end result is they are very keen to have a contract with us. Thank you Jesus for the success even till the end!

Let us take a look at my pay progression from 99. The Last 3 years has been a period of Grace, on eagles' wings. I came out of STEE with a 50% increment in there 3 years! We are destined to reign in life indeed.

I have learn, if you can see it, God will do it for you. Here is 2 of my next aim:

Lift the Name of Jesus Up

Value Jesus and Lift His name up, The Father will honor and lift us up!

Feeling down recently but decided to embrace about God's goodness. I am the righteousness of God!

I am greatly blessed, Highly Favoured & Deeply Loved!

STEE Story & Testimony Part I

I will be leaving STEE after a good 3 Years 8 months. To be exact is from 8th May 2012 to 4th Dec 2015.I grew up in CAE and mature in STEE. Looking back, I could have joined NEC or GE but I think I have made the better decision in joining STEE. But then regardless of where I go, I am sure I will prosper there as I am destined to reign and the blessing is on me not on the job.

I will be joining Crimson Logic as a Solution Architect. I am pretty sure I will do well and prosper there regardless what other's opinion of the company. Some may say alot of Ah Neds, some say company losing money but I will say of the LORD He is my provider and refuge.

When I join STEE as a technical Manager, it is a step up for me in terms of career. Ironically, the pay of $5600 pales when compare to the $6000 GE is offering me or $5800 NEC is offering me too. But I envision, I will be more marketable in 2-3 years time. This is what I saw:
It was a strange situation, I already signed with GE when I was called up for an interview with STEE for a position of software engineer. I went to AMK and called up Julie but she didn't know there is an interview scheduled. I stormed back home but later on, the hiring managers Wan San Ken and Mike Poon met me in HANS@the trinity church near my work place. They were very sincere and they said they want to offer me a Technical Manager instead after reviewing my experience. I went for 1st round of interview and I requested for a technical interview with the CTO and Yew Kwong, the lead architect. After a hour of gruelling questions and tests, I passed with flying colors.

In the first year in STEE, I was doing SG2 project. I started off where I left off in CAE in fast pace fashion. In a short 2 months, I came out with SOA WebService prototype and setup the development tools. It was exciting, as there are basically nothing and I don't even know what is a webservice initially. By God's Grace, I produced something in a very short time. I also learnt alot about infrastructure and from Elbit our main contractor. I even went to Israel for a 3 weeks stint in 2012. It was a beautiful country and Gaza rocketing was happening right at our doorstep while we are there. I learn what is injection dependency, Agile and test tools from Elbit. The first thing I touch down in Singapore is to implement Agile and Injection Dependency onto my project. Today I am proud to say last Dec SG2 was successfully commissioned using the blueprint application I have architected.

Just when things is looking good, suddenly things took a drastic turn! After my 2nd child Zackary is born, we were straight away plunge into a theft case crisis. Recounting the incident, my wife and I were on our way back home from hospital when she saw an IPAD left unattended and we took it. Then the owner reports to the police and we were called up to the police as a result. It was such a stress time and I even thought I could end up in jail. But thank God, we only received stern warnings. To cut the story short, I was not allowed to continue in SG2 shortly after. After I was out of SG2, people like Alysa began to shun me. I felt unwanted in STEE and understandably, I was totally devastated. I have to stay in JE and then AMK with no fixed desk and laptop waiting for new projects to come in. Suddenly, thoughts like I would have better off joining GE begins to flash through my mind. It was the lowest VALLEY of my STEE adventure. I decided to find a job. In a short time, I got 2 offers from NEC ($6100) and Ecquaria ($6300) as a result. I signed with Ecquaria but when I submitted my resignation letter to Mr Kang, he asked me to stay and promise to promote me to M2 next round in July the following year. I decided to take my chance and stay because of this gesture. (Later on, I find out it is a norm that they try to counter offer people when they are leaving). The bad news is I have to pay $6300 penalty to Ecquaria.

I was helping Ang Boon Teck doing some presales. That time, there was one guy call Arthur which I worked with. He was in the same plight after being forced out of CUB2 project. We were bidding for some HDB enforcement projects. It was a great relief, we won the HDB CCK project. I was tasked to come up with some ANPR solution in order to cut down on the manpower intensive operation. During that time, I have to borrow laptop from Arthur daily just to develop. Although it was tough but at the same time enjoyable and exciting.I have to start from ground zero again. I didn't have many friends except Arthur and come guys from Edmund's department. l still remember joining Arthur for some badminton sessions in the evening time at Toa Payoh Safra to make friends. I have to develop in the meeting room in high bay. Very often, I have to make way for meetings in the high bays.

Edmund requested San Ken to buy me a development laptop. With this laptop, things begin to take flight as I can do more in a shorter time. In 5-6 months, I came up with goods. We presented trials to HDB to showcase our technologies and get the endorsement. In July 2013, I was promoted to M2. I continue to make improvements and implement new intiatives for Commercial Department and the Division. We were housed in the meeting room in Level 5. I have people like Andy, Jun Yong, Adeline and a few guys to help me out. I was most impressed with Jun Yong. It was rojak and chaotic but it was fun. I took the chance to introduce new technologies like MVVM, JSF, Primefaces, Ubuntun, HTML5, Andriod, etc. This is the period of time I enjoyed the most.

At the same time, I volunteered to undertake helpdesk to architect the network solution. I designed the network with some advice from Kim Chan and Truvisor (Our vendor). Ironically, Truvisor's boss is my university mate. I didn't even know how Firewall works before I embark on this project. Secretly, I asked the IT guru around and learnt from him. Today, I am proud to say the helpdesk with DR solution is implemented successfully.

I was doing ERP2 tendering and solutioning too. When I presented the migration portion to MSD and Andrew Chow, our president, they were totally impressed. Seriously this is God's unmerited favour! Kim Siah, the MSD head, even ask me to join his costing team. I was quite surprise by my success as this is not my forte. In fact,  ERP2 has very little IT components inside. The tender result could be out early next year with our company in good steed.

Things begin to on the uptrend from the valley by God's grace. Throughout these time, I was attending NCC and always have this story of Joseph burnt deep in my heart. When Jesus is in our life, we are already successful! I have never lose sight of Jesus throughout this valleys and mountains experience.

Out of nowhere, I received a call requesting for an interview from AMOS united a holding company for New York New York, London Weight Management and various other beauty entities. I went to the IMM office and was impressed with the office and "ladies" there. I was told they are bringing in 100m revenue per month. This is just like the bank! When I went to the interview office,  the CIO was not really impressed initially judging from his facial and bodily expression. Being a frank person, he taunted me that most probably I wrote down whatever I have touch on the surface. Then I begin to compound on the things I did and suddenly he begin to sit up. After that, his tone changed and  told the HR manager he likes my passion. Deep down, I already knew he wanted me. True enough, the next day the HR manager called me and make me an offer. They offer me $7000 as this is what  I have indicated for my expected pay. My pay was then $6320 after the promotion increment. I told the HR manager that I want $7500 and they got back with no objection. It even comes with a $400 transport allowance for Senior Manager. Wow, from $5600 to $6320 to $7900 in 2 years! Surely it is God's Hands. I even wrote $6300 for the 2013 goal card in church. Truly, God is able to do abundantly and above what we can ever imagine according to the riches in Christ Jesus!

With such a good offer on the table, I signed and tender my resignation to San Ken. Edmund was shocked when he heard I as resigning the night before San Ken officially submitted the letter. Apparently San Ken never told him about my resignation. He immediately activated Mr Kang, who tried their best to persuade me to stay. I stood my ground  and rejected any persuasion. In the end, they were forced to give me a special increment as a counter offer to $6830.  I accepted the counter offer because of Edmund's sincerity and also SNAPi still have some bugs before it can be officially launch. Its more of a professional decision. Luckily, there is no penalty this time. When San Ken gave me the increment letter, he told me he is happy for me and sad for himself. I begin to realized his pay is lower now! How in the world is ST going to keep people with such uncompetitive pay?

Then SNAPi was deployed in Dec 2014 in CCK. Thereafter, we also won the WLD project. After tweaking and solving some bugs, SNAPi was ready to use. It was a complete success! I fulfulled my obligation towards Edmund. At the same time, I was forming up the software team. I gave myself a Solution Architect/Manager commercial title. I got Novia, Kok Wah and Felicia to help me out in the new initiatives.

At the start of 2015, I wrote $7500 for my pay this year in the NCC goal card.

to be continue.....

Lift Me Up Lord

Feeling abit down.

1) Keep losing in the stock market.
2) Unnecessary expenses
3) Can't seems to save much

Jesus help me have a fresh start. Truly,

Phil 4:19-20
19And my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. 20Now to our God and Father be the glory forever and ever. Amen.

Holy, Faith, Sanctification & Completeness.

Holy means set apart as special. When we received Jesus, we receive His righteousness and is set apart as Holy onto God. We learn to be more sanctified each day as we seek to know more about Jesus. When we put our trust in Jesus, on God's part this is seen as faith.

When we are saved, we are already complete! The Father is well pleased with us. Out of this completeness, we live out the lifestyles of Christ and follow Jesus with confidence. Traditional Christianity & other religion will teach people to do more to please their God so that God can be happy with them and bless them. Let's get this right once and for all, the work is finished on the cross and God is well please with us.

Impacting Lives with the Grace of God

1) Just recently received all this private message from friends. Was very encouraged by them. This is the real gospel; simple  yet impactful for all. Thank You Jesus.

2) Recently met up with Evon, the Prudential Agent who keen to do sales talk to me. She do her sales talk for the first 30 mins. After that, I share with her my testimonies in investment and STEE, applying right thinking mentality and Jesus' Grace, she was totally glued to the sit listening to me for the next 2 hours. The next day, she whatsapp me to thank me for sharing. Thank You Jesus.

STEE Update Oct 2015

Got my BIC awards and gave $700 to Department fund.

Tender my resignation and last day is 4th Dec 2015. Looking to encash most of my leave. Alot of people ask me why I leaving citing reasons like I am highly looked up to by my bosses and noone can touch me. My boss even wants to put me in power for the upcoming ERP2 project if ST really won it.

After rounds and rounds of thinking through, here are my thoughts that drive me to my resignation:

  • What can I do in dept or rather in Info-Comm?
  • I cannot be getting C+ after unprecent winning of BIC 1st prize and getting to the finals of SiFT competition. I cannot afford another C+ next year,
  • My immediately boss have to move up before I can go up the next level. I believe he has his own agenda. Believe it or not, my pay is higher than his. My friend even suggested that he will prevent me from shining. There is probably some logical truth here.
  • I don't want to join the queue and the norm. That is promotion after 3-4 years, I am 40 years old and this is probably my last lap.

What I will be giving up?
  • My friends
  • My establishment here
  • Stability
  • Bonuses

CHC Update Oct 2015

All 6 accused are convicted of all charges.Ironically the judge name is See Kee Onn which is Shi Qi En in Chinese (See Amazing Grace pass judgement). Remember how Kong Hee published free anti-nomia CDs to people against Pastor Prince's Grace teaching a few years back?

http://www.straitstimes.com/singapore/courts-crime/kong-hee-and-city-harvest-church-leaders-found-guilty-what-next

Here is a blog that is very true reflection of what's being a CHC member.

http://gerashen.com/2015/10/22/8-reasons-why-city-harvest-church-was-the-devil-to-me/

Till now, CHC leadership is still twisting the judgement to their advantage. Here is what is published in CityNews.

"On behalf of the church board, executive pastor Aries Zulkarnain thanked everyone for standing steadfastly with the church. Expressing respect for the court’s verdict, he explained, “I think it is very important that as a congregation we understand what the judgment was really based on.” He noted that the judge had acknowledged that the six loved CHC and did not wish to harm the church, but that the judgment was based on wrongful use of funds. "

Kong Hee is placing SUN HO as his successor for CHC 2.0 and his 15 Paradigms. I think God is always good, He always do a restoration. I believe that the CHC leadership has to be completely removed coupled with the sale of the profitable SUNTEC stake, it can enable CHC to survive and move on.

Did Jesus really love John the most?

John 13:23 tells us, "One of them, the disciple whom Jesus loved, was reclining next to Him." John 19:26 declares, "When Jesus saw His mother there, and the disciple whom He loved standing nearby, He said to His mother, 'Dear woman, here is your son.'" John 21:7 says, “Then the disciple whom Jesus loved said to Peter, ‘It is the Lord!’”

The disciple whom Jesus loved is clearly John but that all these verses all appear in the gospel of John. John is writing about himself! John clearly have the revelation of how much Jesus loved Him.
When the disciple asked Jesus whom the betrayal disciple is, he looked at John. John was lying on Jesus' blossom. Clearly John whom the person is beside Jesus.

John 13

21 After he had said this, Jesus was troubled in spirit and testified, “Very truly I tell you, one of you is going to betray me.”
22 His disciples stared at one another, at a loss to know which of them he meant. 23 One of them, the disciple whom Jesus loved, was reclining next to him. 24 Simon Peter motioned to this disciple and said, “Ask him which one he means.”
25 Leaning back against Jesus, he asked him, “Lord, who is it?”
26 Jesus answered, “It is the one to whom I will give this piece of bread when I have dipped it in the dish.” Then, dipping the piece of bread, he gave it to Judas, the son of Simon Iscariot. 27 As soon as Judas took the bread, Satan entered into him.

Why did one love the world?

1st John 2:15
[ On Not Loving the World ] Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them.

The bible says if anyone loves the world is because they don't have or don't recognise the Father's Love towards him. He first Loved us.

He who see Jesus sees the Father. The Father and Jesus are one.

What stars did God told Abraham?

In ancient times, signs were used as a witness of a special covenant either between God and mankind or between different peoples on the earth. In Genesis 9:12-13, God put a special sign in the sky.

God is telling the story of His son to Abraham and Abraham believe it and it was accounted to him righteousness because he believed.

There are 12 major constellations (signs). Their modern names, which tell us nothing of their original meanings, are in parenthesis. Each major constellation has three other constellations associated with it which modify or complete its meaning. They are called decans. Because of space, I will list only the major signs.
The Incarnate Son (Virgo) Isaiah 7:14
The Redeemer (Libra) 1 Cor. 6:20
The Sufferer (Scorpio) 1 Cor. 15:55-56
The Conqueror (Sagittarius) Rev. 6:2
The Sacrifice (Capricornus) Romans 3:25
The Living Water (Aquarius) John 7:38
The Liberator (Pisces) Gen. 48:19; Mark 1:17
The Crowned Lamb (Aries) Rev. 5:6
The Judge (Taurus) John 5:22
The King (Gemini) Romans 1:3
The Protector (Cancer) Isaiah 4:5-6
The Victor (Leo) Rev. 5:5

The Twelve Signs

The twelve signs are fairly well known. They commence with Virgo, the Virgin, and conclude with Leo, the Lion; these two signs being associated directly with the birth and subsequent return of our Lord Jesus Christ. In Egyptian archives the sphinx is shown inserted as an asterisk between these two signs, thus dividing the circle and solving its own riddle of the 'woman and lion'.
From here on each sign depicts some aspect of the Bible narrative: Virgo (the woman) with the branch lies amid 140 stars, with the sun taking 43 days to pass through this constellation. The brightest star in this sign is Tsemech (Hebrew) or Al Zimach (Arabic), meaning 'the branch'. The artist has drawn a woman and branch.
ISAIAH 7:14 states, "Behold a virgin shall conceive and bear a Son...". There are three smaller constellations in each sign, also depicting similar aspects of the Bible story.
Next is Libra, which in Hebrew is Mozanaim, meaning 'the Scales'. Note that our own Southern Cross is in this constellation.
Then comes Scorpio, which in Hebrew is Akrab, meaning ‘the Scorpion' or 'stinging (conflicting) one'. In Arabic the word is translated as 'wounding him that cometh.' The Bible tells us that the "seed of the woman" would bruise the serpent's head.
The sign Sagittarius, the Archer, depicts a disciple of the conquering Lord given us in REVELATION 6. The dragon, Draco, is shown as cast down in the same constellation.
Next comes Capricornus, the Sin Goat. Our Lord was the scapegoat and we are His fish, a wonderful symbol of the redemption plan as written in the heavens.
Aquarius, the Water Bearer, depicts the pouring on of water (See JOHN 7). One Hebrew star in this constellation, Deli, means 'water container', and another star, Saad, means 'one who goeth and returneth.'
Pisces is better known as Pisces Australis, the 'southern fish'. The Hebrew word simply means 'the fishes', and speaks no doubt of the great ingathering of revival and restoration as promised.
Innumerable scriptures speak of all these terms. Andromeda, the 'chained woman', is also shown in this constellation, symbolising Israel as the woman still chained in unbelief.
Aries, 'the Ram or Lamb', which in Hebrew is Teleh, is an obvious picture of the many times our Lord is presented both in the Old and New Testaments. Cassiopiea, 'the enthroned woman' is in this constellation and speaks of the restored and crowned Is-ra-el people of God.
The sign for Taurus signifies 'the Bull'. The brightest star here is Al Debaran, meaning 'leader' or 'governor'. It is prophesied of Jesus in ISAIAH 9, "...and the government shall be upon his shoulders..." (ISAIAH 9:6).
In this same constellation we have a cluster of stars called Pleiades, 'the congregation of the judge - or ruler', with its brightest star Al Cyone, meaning 'the centre'. Many astronomers believe this star to be the centre of the whole universe.
Also in this constellation is Orion, which means 'the coming prince'. In Hebrew, Oarian, meaning 'light', and Hagat, 'the triumphant one'.
Amos refers to Orion, which in Hebrew is Chesil, meaning 'the strong one - hero - giant'. In the right shoulder of Orion we find Betelgeuz 'the coming branch', and in his left foot Rigol, 'the foot that crusheth'. A star in his left shoulder, Bellatrix, means 'quietly coming', and in the belt of Orion the star Al Niyak, means 'the wounded one.'
Next is Gemini, the Twins. The Hebrew word is 'Thaumin' meaning 'unites'. Jesus the man, Christ the God, the unity of man and God provides our recommendation as sons of God also. We find the star Apollo here, meaning 'ruler' or 'judge'.
Cancer is derived from the Arabic words 'al sartan' and means 'one who holds or binds together.' One large star in the sign of Cancer is Acubene, which means in Hebrew 'the shelter' or 'hiding place'. Also in this constellation is Ursa Major, the 'great bear' recorded in JOB 9 and 38. Many other stars with Hebrew names are associated with this sign, and depict the lamb and the gathering of the sheep with the Lord.
Finally we have Leo, the Lion. The end of the Zodiac circle. The riddle of the sphinx is solved with the head of the woman Virgo and the body of the lion Leo, which in Hebrew is Arieh. There are six Hebrew words for lion. This one means 'the lion that herds its prey.' Star of the first magnitude in this constellation is Denebola, meaning 'the Lord who cometh.'
"Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book..." (REVELATION 5:5).
Our future is written in God's Word and declared in the heavens. Satan, as the master of illusion or delusion, still captivates the gullible. The present increase in the "occult", the ouija board, seances, and horoscopes, all side-track the unsuspecting and superstitious, and endeavour to replace the ideology of God with that of man.
As an alternative to the wonderful "outpouring of the Holy Spirit" as shown in the Word of God and confirmed in the Zodiac, millions have now turned to the vanity of their own devices. Don't read your horoscope - read the Bible.
This Christmas look for your Guiding Star to appear in your life. The Lord Jesus Christ is our own personal Star of Bethlehem, and as you place that star on top of that tree remember its true meaning, not its pagan godless alternative, but rather its message of hope and redemption.
"We have also a more sure word of prophecy, whereunto ye do well that ye take heed as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn and the Day Star arise in your hearts" (2 PETER 1:19).

4 faces of Jesus

4 different faces of Jesus
The 4 gospels present the 4 faces of Jesus, which also correspond to the 4 emblems of the 4 tribes of Israel camped closest to the Tabernacle when they were in the desert.

1. Matthew:
- Written for the Jews
- Presents Christ as the prophesied "he that is born King of the Jews" (Matthew 2:2)
- Seen in the Lion of Judah that camped East of the Tabernacle

2. Mark:
- Written for the Romans
- Presents Chris as the obedient Servant "the Son of man came, not to be ministered unto but to minister (serve) and to give His life a ransom for many." (Mark 10:45), with no discussion of genealogy
- Seen in the Ox of Ephraim that camped West of the Tabernacle

3. Luke:
- Written for the Greek
- Presents Christ as the perfect Man by tracing the genealogy of Jesus back to Adam the first man (Luke 3:23-38)
- Seen in the face of Man of Reuben that camped South of the Tabernacle

4. John:
- Written for the world
- Presents Christ as God and the Divine Son by focusing on Jesus's origin before time (John 1:1-14)
- Seen in the Eagle of Dan that camped North of the Tabernacle

The 4 faces of Jesus will defend you against the enemies attack from 4 directions. When the 12 tribes of Israel camp, they face the tabenacle and left their back to the enemy. God will will our rear guard when our eyes are fixed on Jesus.

This is how the enemies are going to attack you.

(Zech 6:1-8)

Four Chariots

I looked up again, and there before me were four chariots coming out from between two mountains—mountains of bronze. The first chariot had red horses, the second black, the third white, and the fourth dappled—all of them powerful. I asked the angel who was speaking to me, “What are these, my lord?”
The angel answered me, “These are the four spirits[a] of heaven, going out from standing in the presence of the Lord of the whole world. The one with the black horses is going toward the north country, the one with the white horses toward the west,[b] and the one with the dappled horses toward the south.”
When the powerful horses went out, they were straining to go throughout the earth. And he said, “Go throughout the earth!” So they went throughout the earth.
Then he called to me, “Look, those going toward the north country have given my Spirit[c] rest in the land of the north.”
